The Serbian Association of Plant Breeders & Seed Producers is an association of legal and physical persons who are active in plant breeding, seed production and seed sales.

The association was established on 18 June 1992 at a founding assembly held in the Sugar Beet Department “Selekcija” in Aleksinac. The activities of the association are conducted in line with the Statute and laws that legislate the operations of this type of association.

As part of its regular activities, the Association publishes a scientific-technical publication “Selekcija i semenarstvo” (“Plant Breeding and Seed Science”), which is then distributed to members and related institutions in the country and abroad.
